Renter's Workshops

Renter's Workshops

Each semester, University Student Legal Service housing attorneys host several renter’s workshops in each of the freshman dorms. We educate students about what they should be aware of before they sign a lease by through this educational presentation and Q&A session. Our workshops highlight any changes that we notice in the off-campus housing environment, including trends relating to what types of housing are available. We outline the basics of a lease and encourage students to contact our office to schedule a lease review before they sign. Our housing attorneys are here to help at all stages in a student’s tenancy.

These workshops are also available, upon request, by filling out our Request a Program Form.
